Benefits of beautifying your home with nature.
The beauty of nature and the benefits in our lives cannot be overemphasised. There are benefits in beautifying your home with nature. Not only are they great to look at, they add values to human lives. Mountains help the earth’s stability, the river provides sustenance, trees, and flowers are a source of healing to human. Beautifying your home with natural object purifies the air, plants are natural purifiers, they reduce the pollution indoor. According to research, indoor plants reduce the risk of stroke related illness by 34 percent, heart disease goes down by 26 percent, lung cancer by 6 percent, respiratory infection disease such as asthma in children 12 percent.
Keeping the green plant in your home lift your mood and detoxifies the air you breathe. Plants are enhancers, they enhance your mood and reduce the effect of depression, anxiety, and stress. Colourful flowers have been proven to have an instant effect on memory and happiness, it awaken the feel-good nerve in our brain and we tend to remember things more if we are surrounded by colourful flowers, in other words, colourful flowers improve dementia and depression.

Trees and flowers are not the only product of nature to decorate your home with; decorating your home with nature are as extensive as you can imagine. Lemon peels, pine cone, shells, bark, dried flower, wood log and so on can all be used in beautifying your homes.

Below are simple ways to bring live into your home and benefit from nature’s mere existence.

Decorating with pinecones, shells, and peels.

Why not recycle your orange, lemon or lime peels? Squeeze out your lemon, orange or lime. Seperate the peels and dry them up. It might take few days to get them fully dried. Store your dried peels in a glass jar or in a wide bowl. The dried peels smell great and purify the air. It might take a while to dry out, but, it certainly worth the wait. You can place the jar on any surface. It brings magic to boring space. Collect as many peels as you can, they do reduce in size once dried.

Decorating with shells and pinecone

The visit to seaside and woods can be turned into something more productive. Pick up shells and allow your imagination to go wild. Think of the best way to use them up. You might mount them, arrange them or pile them in a jar. Pinecones are old time favourites , they fall off the trees during the winter months, pick up and mixed them freely with dried fruits or peels.

Pots of green plants or flower.

A pot of flowers adds beauty and brighten up the house. Flowers can be sowed from seed or bulb. It can also be bought from a shop. Place your pot anywhere, it will definitely add a tune of statement. Green plants are my favourite, if you suffer from hay fever, you might just want to settle for potted plants. You can gain more from them as well.

Trees and log

Indoor trees can sit gorgeously in your home without much effort. There are so many to choose from and they are too numerous to mention. Speak to a tree specialist and choose trees that are easily managed. Tree make a lovely gift as well. Logs are versatile, think of the best place to house your log and dwell in its beauty and benefit from its generousity.
