Home-Made Oat and Honey Exfoliate for Acne and Blemishes

Everyone knows the power of honey and the nourishment oatmeal provides for the skin. The combination of oatmeal and honey does more than magic in healing the skin and repairing the damages. Oat is gentle on the skin and has a gentle way of exfoliating all skin types. It is not aggressive. Honey has anti-inflammatory and anti bacterial properties. The properties in both honey and oatmeal help heal the skin and cure skin conditions such as acne.

Oatmeal not just cares for your skin,  it lubricates and moisturises. It has zinc- a well-known mineral which fights off germs and controls the production of sebum. Vitamin B is also known to slow down the aging process and promote skin regeneration.

Honey is a house hold name. The healing power of honey makes the difference. Honey heals the skin and the strong antioxidant and enzymes help in nourishing the skin. Due to its composition,  honey protects the skin from acne related germs and bacterias. It is a natural humectant. Honeyis hydration. It creates a barrier between the skin and harmful effects of bacterial.

To make an amazing exfoliate which cares and nourishes your skin, you need the following ingredients.

Ground Oatmeal 2 Tablespoons

Organic Honey 2 tablespoons

Clean Empty Bowl

Combine the ingredients in your bowl and stir until they are all mixed.  Mix together until you achieve a sticky consistency.

Clean your face before you apply the mixture. With an applicator brush or your finger tip, apply your honey and oatmeal mix, gently working around your face in a circular motion while avoiding the eyes.

Cover your face or any part of your body with the mixture. Leave the honey and oatmeal mixtures on for about 15 minutes or until dry.

To rinse off, use lukewarm water taking extra care. Finish off with cold water to close the pore of your skin. Pat dry with clean towel.  Repeat the treatment every 2 days until you are satisfied with your skin.
